CoreDeck Raised Access Floor Systems

Raised Floors, Built on Honeycomb.

Rigid, demountable floor panels on an engineered pedestal-and-stringer sub-structure — from lightweight aluminium honeycomb decks to heavy-duty steel-con floors for offshore, marine, FPSO and architectural projects.

The TheHoneycombCore Advantage

Why teams floor with us

Fast, Demountable Install

Free-standing panels drop into a pedestal-and-stringer grid — assembled, not wet-built. Every panel lifts out again for cabling, HVAC and service access without disturbing the floor.

One System, Lightweight to Heavy

Aluminium honeycomb, aluminium hollow and steel-con panels share a common sub-structure, so one specification spans accommodation decks to heavy equipment rooms.

Engineering Support

We work from your load class, span and environment to recommend panel build-up, pedestal height and stringer combination — and quote the full floor package.

Documented Quality

Panels ship to documented process control with material certifications and load / deflection test data available on request.

The CoreDeck Range

One sub-structure, a panel for every load

Lightweight honeycomb, medium-load hollow and heavy-duty steel-con panels, with the pedestals, stringers and finishes that complete the floor.

CD-HH100 — Aluminium Honeycomb

CD-HH100 — Aluminium Honeycomb

Two thin aluminium skins bonded to a hexagonal honeycomb core on a welded steel sub-frame. Lightweight raised floor for weight-restricted decks — up to 350 kg/m² (72 psf).

CD-HH200 — Edge-Reinforced Honeycomb

CD-HH200 — Edge-Reinforced Honeycomb

An edge-reinforced honeycomb panel with rigid joint connection, anti-static structure and coin-open service access. Lightweight — up to 350 kg/m² (72 psf).

CD-HL100 — Aluminium Hollow

CD-HL100 — Aluminium Hollow

Aluminium hollow floor panel on tube-form pedestals and extruded profile girders. Medium load — up to 800–1000 kg/m² (164–205 psf), set by pedestal interval.

CD-HSC — Steel-Con

CD-HSC — Steel-Con

All-steel welded plate filled with a cementitious core — incombustible and heavy-duty up to 2000 kg/m² (410 psf), with a conductive tile finish for equipment and switchgear rooms.

Pedestals & Stringers

Pedestals & Stringers

Height-adjustable steel and aluminium pedestals (80–1000 mm) with welded stringers, matched to the panel's axial and overturning load class — the engineered base of every floor.

Conductive Tile Finishes

Conductive Tile Finishes

2.0 mm conductive vinyl tile across a range of patterns and colours, with controlled floor-to-ground resistance for static-sensitive and anti-static spaces.

Why Honeycomb

The panel does the hard work

Lightweight Stiffness

A honeycomb sandwich gives a floor panel the bending stiffness of a solid plate at a fraction of the weight — honeycomb decks run around 14–17 kg/m², easing load on the primary structure.

Rated for Real Loads

Panels are rated against concentrated, ultimate, uniform, impact and rolling loads, so the right system is matched to furniture, foot and caster traffic, and dropped-load conditions.

Overturning & Seismic

Pedestal base-plate size, attachment and tube size are specified to resist overturning from traffic and under-floor work, and to meet seismic requirements where they apply.

Anti-Static & Conductive

Conductive vinyl finishes and anti-static panel builds give controlled floor-to-ground resistance for electronics, control and equipment rooms.

Marine & Offshore Grade

Aluminium alloys and steel-con builds engineered for shipbuilding, offshore and FPSO topsides, with NORSOK and IMO requirements in view.

Fully Serviceable

Every panel is removable for access to the floor void, and the system reconfigures as cable, HVAC and equipment layouts change over the life of the space.

Where They Go

Applications we quote

Shipbuilding & Offshore

Accommodation decks, control rooms and FPSO topsides where a serviceable floor void and weight control both matter — engineered with NORSOK and IMO requirements in view.

Data & Equipment Rooms

Steel-con heavy-load panels with conductive finishes for switchgear, server and plant rooms that need an incombustible, anti-static floor over a cable and cooling void.

Architectural Interiors

Raised floors for command, broadcast and technical spaces where services run below a level, demountable finished floor.

Lightweight Accommodation

Aluminium honeycomb floors where load on the primary structure is restricted but a rigid, repairable raised floor is still required.
